Each year BFE runs a mentoring scheme for Full and Associate BFE members.

 

The scheme provides ten mentees with an opportunity to receive career guidance over a period of one year from one of BFE volunteer mentors, who include editors of documentaries, animation, and scripted dramas.

While the scheme is not open to Student members, there are plenty of opportunities to receive entry level career advice from panel events, as well as in-person and

on-line networking opportunities.

The 2026 BFE Mentoring Scheme will accept applications in June this year.
