To recognise excellence in editing the BFE Cut Above awards were launched in NOVEMBER 2020
The only major UK awards solely for editing and post production in Film and TV
The ceremony was held on the 5th March 2021.

This year will be nominations by members only. We will hopefully be accepting general submissions in 2021. Members will be asked to nominate in the 4 categories and if they think someone they know deserves the Michael Johns BFE Award for Assistant Editor or Chris Crookall BFE Award for Breakthrough Editor then they are also invited to nominate for that.
